Why Therapy?
Therapy provides a regular time and space for people to talk about their challenges and explore difficult feelings, in an environment that is dependable, free from intrusion and confidential. A therapist should respect your viewpoint, while helping you to deal with specific problems, cope with crises, improve your relationships, or develop better ways of living.
Sessions usually take place either in person or online and are 1 hour. Making a regular commitment gives you a better chance of getting to the heart of your difficulties.
Your initial assessment is an opportunity to discuss your needs and to determine how I can help. Iwill refer you to an appropriate alternative service if needed. Communication withme is completely confidential and guided by the ethical provisions of NZAC.This policy is only detracted if there is an apparent threat to the life of you or another.
Payment for your session is required at the time of appointment via online bank transfer, eftpos or cash. Cancellation without providing 24 hours notice incurs a "no show" fee which is payable prior to your next session.
